Preferences & notifications

Configure how and when you're notified.

Every notification shows up in-app automatically — the bell icon in the sidebar tracks unread notifications. Under Preferences → Notifications, you can additionally wire specific events to a Discord webhook: booking success, payment failed, payment missing, snipe expired, proxy unhealthy, and auth failed each have their own toggle and their own webhook URL, so you can send different events to different channels (or only turn on the ones you care about).

This is also where general app preferences — system proxy, privacy/diagnostics settings, and update checks — live.

Checking for updates

Under Preferences → About, you'll see the version of SnipeSeats you're currently running. Click Check for update (or use Help → Check for Updates… from the menu bar) and a small window opens showing the result.

If a newer version is available, SnipeSeats downloads it, verifies it, and prompts you to restart to finish installing — no manual download or reinstall needed.
